Publication alert!

Two interesting studies by our CHANGE MSCA Doctoral Network Doctoral Candidate Alessia Brancolini, supervised by Johannes Grillari and Regina Grillari at Evercyte GmbH, got published this month.

The first paper (https://lnkd.in/gttBTh5v) focuses on the comparison between primary and hTERT-immortalized WJ-MSCs for extracellular vesicle (EV) production, that represents an important step toward standardized, scalable, and reproducible EV manufacturing for future therapeutic applications.

The second publication, recently published in the Journal of Extracellular Vesicles, explores how different collection media can significantly influence MSC-EV properties and downstream experimental outcomes (https://lnkd.in/gK46cGTd). This work strongly highlights the importance of proper medium controls and careful experimental design in ensuring rigor and reproducibility across EV research.

Congratulations Alessia and team!
